Snack Bar Bird is on the busy Zeedijk, this is the China Town of Amsterdam. By far the best place to eat here is Snack bar Bird.

We visited from the States middle week of Sept09. We ended up stopping here instead for lunch on our second day of getting lost in Amsterdam, and still not being able to locate Oriental City in Chinatown. The food was very, very good and seemed quite authentic. We ordered the pad thai, both chicken and shrimp versions. Also, had a beef noodle soup (with garlic bulbs?), and a beef curry dish. All of the dishes were really tasty and cooked to the right doneness, and was indeed worth the visit. Thanks local spotter for posting this place! SW ( Oct 20th, 2009 , 7:49 pm )
